Qualified Service Technician

A rare opportunity has become available to join our team in Attleborough:

The Automotive Technician will work to properly diagnose, repair and maintain customer vehicles, to the highest standards in regards to the Toyota franchise.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently and accurately perform quality repair work in accordance with dealership's and manufacturer standards
  • Complete system diagnostics and full automotive troubleshooting and testing
  • Consistently perform quality Visual Health Checks and customers video's in order to report on repairs and maintenance items
  • Maintain an organised and neat workshop area
  • Road-test vehicle to ensure quality repair work and completed
  • Proper preparation and completion of repair order documentation
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate directly with workshop manager regarding the status of the service work as well as the estimated time for the completion so that customers can be informed
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology

Bodyshop MET Technician - Attleborough

With ATA accreditation and the ability to do MET work also able to help out in other sections of repiar process.

A rare opportunity has arisen for a MET Technician to join our team in Attleborough:

The main duties of the role are:

  • Strip and replace as necessary bodywork panels of damaged vehicles accoding to the instruction received or details on the job car
  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair
  • To ensure that all equipment used, to include A/C, Geometry equipment, diagnostic equipment is used and operated in accordance with defined safety requirement
  • Adhere to the manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of panel work
  • Prepare vehicles fully before painting to include masking, sanding and other necessary preparation work

- ATA qualified or be a time served technician
- NVQ Level 1,2 & 3, NVQ in Hybird Awareness Level 3, NVQ in Air Con qualifications
- Experience in a bodyshop or accident repair environment

Panel Beater / MET Technician

Dingles Bodyshop - Norwich

A rare opportunity has arisen for a Panel Technician Beater with ATA accreditation and the ability to do MET to join our team in Norwich.

The main duties of the role are:

  • To repair or replace as necessary bodywork panels of damaged vehicles according to the instructions received or details on the job card. This will include chassis and framework
  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing damaged panels or by replacing those beyond repair
  • To ensure that all equipment used, to include jigs, fixtures and welding equipment, is operated in accordance with defined safety requirements.
  • Adhere to the manufacturer’s literature and modification bulletins as appropriate to the repair and to the replacement of chassis and panel work.
  • Prepare vehicles fully before painting to include masking, sanding and other necessary preparation work

    Candidates will ideally have:

    * ATA qualification or be a time served technician
    * NVQ Level 1, 2 & 3
    * Experience in a body shop or accident repair environment
